This year, a number of distinguished guests and award recipients, as well as a number of elected officials from Florida appeared during the week long event. In addition to addresses by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Retired Lt. Gen. Chuck Horner and Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie, Retired Admiral Michelle Howard, DPAA Director Kelly McKeague and Retired Brig. Gen. Jack Hammond all received VFW national awards.
